Traditional russian doll

This small dolls called "kukolka na schast'e", that means doll for happiness. Plait is the most important thing in these dolls.

Two purses

I've found an excellent tutorial in Katherine's blog and made two purses/ The first is made from flannel for my 2-years old son


The second is more intrestig, at first I stitched squares of fabric with sachiko motif, called "coin".

Creative Cross Stitch Challenge #4

This time I made elfish-rustic bracelet. It is stitched on linen by DMC and old unknown mélange threads from my grndma's stash, also I used metallic DMC. Fasteners are from same unknown threads and wooden beads.

the Cross Stitch Challenge #3

This time I made doublesided keychain. I used evenweave fabric of two colors, cotton and rayon DMC threads, metallic threads and chain from my stash. Also I modeled small house of air-drying clay and painted it. Here's my new keychain!

My handmade sacks

I'd like to show my last handmade things. Hre they are - my sacks for my stash.

this is the first and the most simply sack. It's decorated with five kinds of hemstitch.


Thi is the second and little bit more difficult. This type of embroidery is called "olonetskoe shitye". Outlines of inner picture are stitched with chain-stitch. The area around is changed into a grid by rows of the simpliest hemstitch.
